2 packets frozen acai
1/2 bag heirloom marion blackberries
4 tbs. tocotreniols
2 tsp hemp oil
3 dropperfuls of stevia (omica brand is all i ever use)
2 tbs maca powder

Sugar Free Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies
3 pastured eggs (3 yolks and 2 whites)
2 tbs. colostrum
1/2 jar organic raw cashew butter
3 to 4 tablespoons raw grass fed butter
2 tsp. vanilla powder or extract
3 to 4 dropperfuls of omica stevia or use Donna Gates lakanto or Birch wood Xylitol
3/4 cup fresh hand peeled cacao (Or you could buy non sweetened raw cacao nibs) Or better yet make chocolate chips in dehydrator with lakanto as your sweetener
Mix all ingredients well and form into cookies on dehydrator sheets. Make sure Dehydrator is on at 155 to start out to get it nice and warm. After about 30 minutes you can bring temp down to 125 and then 115 to keep warm through out the day. Serve warm! Why not use the dehydrator..that way you keep more nutrients intact then baking. It may not make the most perfect cookie but I’d rather have the nutrients!
Raw Vegan Cheesy Alfredo:
serves 2-3 people
In a clean/dry vitamix Blender add the following:
3 heaping tablespoons raw cashew butter
1/2 cup nutritional yeast (make sure it is a reputable source, I like Premier Research Labs)
the juice of 1 lemon
1 og red bell pepper
1 pinch of pink salt
1/2 of a jalapeno pepper..more or less depending on how spicy you like it.
Just enough water to keep thick consistency
Blend on high till a rich creamy consistency is achieved.
Next take 1 bag of kelp noodles or alternatively make zucchini pasta with a mandolin. Take the kelp noodles and drain liquid then put in a glass or ceramic pot with hot water to warm up the noodles. Only till hot but never boiling. Next drain the water. Cut up the noodles with a knife and then pour in the sauce. Mix well. Next chop up heirloom tomatoes for toppings as well as parsley and other farm fresh greens. Sprinkle with minced jalapeno and pink salt. Bam! You have yourself raw vegan cheesy alfredo.

The Rawsta Wrap
This organic, raw vegan sushi wrap is the bomb and gives you true energy with vibrant rasta colors too!
Start with soaked organic raw sunflower seeds for Vitamin D3
Blend these with Rejuvelac or a similar probiotic drink and let sit and ferment for 4 hours. Now you can add the goodies to it.
I add: marinated garlic (cayenne and oil marinade), nutritional yeast, pink salt, seasonings of your choice…if you want italian, indian just add the spice to create it. I like to add turmeric to give it a yellow color and inflammatory properties. Blend in vitamix again
Next get your nori wrap out and put on a long cuttingboard. Load it with sprouts and medicinal greens then slice some cucumber, avocado and place on wrap, add red cabbage cultured vegg for the red color. I like to add chlorella tablets or powder. Sometimes Spirulina. Now you have a RAWSTA Wrap…roll it up and enjoy with Coconut Aminos and/or minced habanero/jalapeno or home made hot sauce.

The oils are nourishing the kidneys and whole body system, they also help to keep us in the alkaline state. This smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrition. Injoy & Enjoy.

Today is the 6th of July and we are pressing some juice thru the GreenStar! It is day 13 of my juice fast and wow was I excited to get some Amaranth Greens, Yam Leaf and Red Spinach from a local Chinese farmer.
Amaranth is also called Chinese Spinach and it is has been used to treat hair loss and retain the color of the hair or reverse gray. It is also utilized for conditions of the skin. The local farmer’s markets around this area are quite incredible in the summer months. It is such a great idea to get an array of different greens into the diet. Sometimes we get stuck into only a few types but there are just so many to choose from. Enjoy all kinds of wild & local greens to nourish your body, mind & soul. Yeah for Amaranth!
Top of the Morning. Today in the Ital Kitchen we are enjoying some Dandy Blend. Dandy Blend is basically an herbal Coffee alternative. It is from Dandelion root, chicory and beet root as well as Barley and Rye Grain. With over 50 trace minerals and no caffeine it is an incredibly full bodied drink.
I have to say I am quite the coffee connoisseur as many years back I ran my own Espresso Bar on the Eastern shores of Maryland. So, I did learn a thing or two about creating the perfect ristretto type espresso and all the frothy yumminess too. I even went to live and work on an organic coffee farm on the Big Island of Hawaii to learn the in’s and out’s of growing the coffee trees.
But any way if you like to enjoy something that tastes very similar to coffee but without the caffeine or acid I suggest Dandy Blend. It is an excellent treat. You can even make “coffee” Ice Cream with it or put in your favorite superfood cookie recipe. I usually take 1 heaping Tablespoon and add it to my hot water. This makes a robust and full bodied cup. Try either frothing fresh home made almond mylk by simply soaking and sprouting almonds over night in water. Then blend them with spring water in the blender. Now strain the fiber with a nut mylk bag or whatever you have on hand. Then put the mylk back into the blender and blend on high. Voila you have frothy mylk.
Now take and pour some on your dandyblend. You just made your first Super Herbal Coffee Drink! You can also add other herbs in with the dandy blend like lucuma or perhaps mucuna is a rich superfood that compliments dandy blend well and is great for the brain. Lucuma will give it some sweetness and add mineral content.
So glad you came to the Ital Kitchen today. We are making super activated face masks! This mask will be a mixture of:
What a phenomenal mixture. We have the pulling agent of the Zeolites to detox from smog, pollution, toxins in the air etc.
Then we’ve got the Colostrum which has essential growth factors to help keep the skin youthful and vibrant. I prefer Bovine Colostrum and my source is from ethically raised cows where the baby calf always receive their fill first! Colostrum is incredible for the immune system. Talk about a Super Food. This was a food eaten by Vegan’s lifetime’s ago as it is not milk but the first fluid of the cow.
Then we have got the Barley grass which is loaded with nutrients.
Your skin will be singing after this treatment.
Enjoy this out in the sun barefoot and let it dry thoroughly. Keep on as long as you can and then rinse of with spring water.
Today is a blessed day here in the Ital Kitchen! We just got back from the Farmer’s Market and scored 8 lemons for $1.-, 10 oranges for $1.- and tons of other goodies.
We made some yummy fresh pressed juices as today is my 6th day on a wonderful Juice Cleanse. To me this is the best time of year to do a juice cleanse because the Farmer’s Markets are abundant with all kinds of yummy fruits and vegetables. More on fasting and the health benefits next time.
Here is a recipe for one of the best Juices EVER!
Lemon Ginger Blast
2 small green or fuji apples
1 large cucumber
1/2 celery bunch
1 large bunch of Cilantro
1 bunch of salad greens
2 lemons with peel
2 – 3 inches of Ginger Root
1 piece of Aloe leaf (fillet off the skin and spikes and blend this in after you press the juice).
Optional: MSM powder- wonderful for the joints and crucial to collagen creation and soft, supple, skin & hair. MSM harmonizes well with citrus so taking them together is crucial
Clean and cut your veggies. Utilizing Organic produce for juicing is vital as no one wants to juice a bunch of pesticides or herbicides:)
After you press the juice pour it into the vitamix or blend tec blender and add aloe. This will ensure the digestive tract and intestinal walls are soothed. I have mention in another post about the amazing benefits of the Super Food Aloe. Use it often internally & externally.
